GNO

Well, let me start by saying that I kicked some major academic butt this semester! (At least for me...) Two A's, One B, and a very hard earned C (in Deutsch of course). Slowly but surely I am going to get HOPE back. Hopefully in time for London study abroad next year.
Tori and I are Once again back in the ATL (no pun intended), so that I can go to my concert. I have so been looking forward to this for three months! Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, heck yeah! The parentals aren't too happy that I'm going by myself, but I made good grades this semester, so I've got some leverage now.
Tomorrow we head back to the dirty wick-- Tori for her dad's b-day and me to spend some quality time with the family before I head back to school next Monday. 3 summer classes, JOY! I can do it though, and this is definitely a chance to bring my GPA up. A month of classes and then my parentals have to come to the Boro to help me move everything out of the apartment... and THEN the long-awaited Matty concert at Smith's on June 25. I saw him back when he was opening for Jars of Clay and I saw him and Dave on their Two Birds, One Stone Tour, but now I get to see him all by himself! Heck yeah! Just me, my favorite acoustic guy, and 100 other crazy fans. haha I don't think the parentals really want me to go to this concert, but I already bought the ticket, and it is Matty.... I would cry of I missed it! This may be my last chance to see him before he really hits it big. My one last chance to get that picture and autograph.
Then a few days later I get to come back up here, get on a plane and head to Poland. I cannot believe that four years later I am finally making it back to Europe. I'll be there for exactly one month and six days, and I am going to enjoy every minute of it.
You know, I think all of this traveling and planning for trips I've been doing lately has made my parents realize just how serious I am about all of this. I guess you could say I'm sort of a gypsy. It's not my fault, I think it's just inherent in some people. Quite obviously it skipped a generation, but eventually they'll realize it's just who I am.
As long as I've got God on my side, in the words of McFly, I'll be okay. So, no worries. Besides, the fun isn't always in the destination... it's the adventures to be had while getting there.
Peace
